The Dutch national team will train for the last time on Thursday ahead of the second match of the World Cup, against Ecuador on Friday. National coach Louis van Gaal’s team will arrive at Pitch 6 at Qatar University in Doha at 09:30 (Dutch time). Only the first quarter of an hour is visible to journalists, after which Orange continues behind closed doors.
Van Gaal then gives a press conference at 12.45 p.m. It’s possible he’ll hint if he’ll make any changes to his core squad after the first game against Senegal (2-0). The national coach has already announced that he wants striker Memphis Depay, who has just recovered from a hamstring injury, to play football for half time.
The last four games of the first round are scheduled for Thursday. World title favorites Brazil will meet Serbia in Group G at 8 p.m. The other match in this group will oppose Switzerland to Cameroon at 11 am. In Group H, Uruguay will face South Korea at 2 p.m. and Portugal and Ghana at 5 p.m.
